Research notes

This is a hand-tufting device from Akzo's German arm (Wuppertal, the former Enka/Glanzstoff fibre business). It suggests that fibre makers took an interest in hand guns in the 1980s, probably for sampling or repair. It cites Scholz's DE2356585. Verified Oct 2026 by web search only. patents.google.com and Espacenet could not be opened from the sandbox, so I did not read the document itself. The number, title, dates and assignee come from a "Cited By" table on a Google Patents page, as summarised in a search result. Research note (Oct 2026): found through search results; the patent document itself wasn't opened. The Patent drawings job fetches the document from Google Patents; if drawings appear on this record, the number is confirmed.
