Research notes

This is a German tufting device that cites Scholz's hand-tufting patent DE2356585 as prior art. I did not find out whether it is a hand tool or a machine. It is included mainly as evidence that Scholz's patent was being cited by 1976. Verified Oct 2026 by web search only. patents.google.com and Espacenet could not be opened from the sandbox, so I did not read the document itself. Applicant and dates come from the Google Patents record as summarised in a search result. Google warns that the applicant name is OCR-derived. Research note (Oct 2026): found through search results; the patent document itself wasn't opened. The Patent drawings job fetches the document from Google Patents; if drawings appear on this record, the number is confirmed.
