Research notes

This is a Swiss woman's hand needle for making carpet pile. It appears in the citation table of DE115020C, an older German hand embroidery (punch-type) needle, which suggests the examiner treated it as a hollow-needle, punch-style tool rather than a knotting hook. Verified Oct 2026 by web search only. patents.google.com and Espacenet could not be opened from the sandbox, so I did not read the document itself. The number, title, years and applicant come only from that citation row as summarised in a search result. A follow-up search could not find the record itself. Treat it as a lead. Research note (Oct 2026): found through search results; the patent document itself wasn't opened. The Patent drawings job fetches the document from Google Patents; if drawings appear on this record, the number is confirmed.
