Research notes

An unbroken institutional line from the Osaka Prefecture Dantsu Trade Association to the modern Japan Carpet Manufacturers' Association. Citation check (Oct 2026, from search results; pages not opened): confirmed. Minor: the source reads '1895年(明治28年)に設立された大阪府緞通同業組合を淵源としています' (the quote drops '(明治28年)'). Add: the present association formed in Sept 1995 by merging 日本特殊毛織物等工業組合 (1958) and 日本カーペット協会 (1968; originally 日本タフテッドカーペット協会, renamed 1973). 'Unbroken line' is the association's own framing.
