Research notes

Citation check (Oct 2026, from search results; pages not opened): confirmed. The English text seen is 'By July 1992 all carpet production was transferred to Nanhai. The Tai Po chapter, which started in 1958, had come to an end.' The Chinese wording was not seen verbatim. Nanhai is in Guangdong. HKHP gives 1958 for the start of Tai Po production; other sources say 1959 or 1960. Source: Tai Ping Carpets: A Humble Beginning in Hong Kong 篳路藍縷:太平地氈, Hong Kong Heritage Project, July 1992 (event).
