A May 2025 China Daily feature on the Yangxin Carpet Intangible Cultural Heritage Workshop (set up by Yangxin Ruixin Group in 2022) says a joint project with Donghua University produced 'China's first fully digital intelligent robot for hand-tufted carpets'. It follows pre-programmed designs and makes mid- to low-grade tufted carpets efficiently. The name matches the 2014 utility model CN204058934U 手工枪刺地毯全数字化智能机器人 (see pat-cn204058934u). Yangxin Ruixin also filed CN111705448A in 2020, a pneumatic gun for an intelligent gun-tufted carpet robot. dateStart 2014 follows the matching patent; the article gives no date. The 'first' claim is the press's and is not independently confirmed. CN104562491A (Shenyang/Yiwu, also 2014) is a competing early claimant.
