Began in 1976 in Ugapur (Bhadohi area) as a small supplier of hand-knotted rugs after a meeting with a Federated Group buyer. Moved into the US (first office 1986 per one account; Calhoun, Georgia, 2001; new Cartersville headquarters 2016). Now a large US supplier of hand-knotted, hand-tufted and flatweave rugs and a multi-brand home company (Global Views, Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams). Why it matters: the closest peer to Jaipur Living—an Indian rug supplier that moved its head office to north Georgia, beside the Dalton machine industry.
